Six million people have lost their jobs. We are all feeling this crisis. All except the Obamas. Why? Well they have OUR money to entertain themselves on.
A few martinis and a fine dinner at a swanky restaurant. A broadway play. A normal night out for many New Yorkers and tourists. But not for the Commander-in-Thief Obama and his lurch of a first lady (ahem). Their "date night" comes at the taxpayers expense. Oh, they paid for their own dinner and theatre tickets, but we paid for the fuel and personnel for Air Force One Jr., two helicopters, accompanied by fighter jets, plus two additional planes to carry staff and reporters. What? There aren't any reporters in NY? The cost of the presendential mini plane and two helicopters were reported at $24,000. That doesn't include all the additional costs involved - Security, personal secretaries, NY Police Officers, etc. All paid for by the rest of us hard working Americans.
This is about as irresponsible as it gets. What happened to "We all have to have skin in the game?". Guess that doesn't apply to the welfare recipients now occupying the White House. Unemployment rates rising to Carter-era levels, people losing their homes, fuel prices increasing .19 per gallon over just the past two weeks, tens of thousands of auto related employees losing their jobs on top of the six million already unemployed. A responsible leader would have not shown such careless disregard and disrespect for the American people. At the very least Obmunutz should foot the entire bill for this excursion. Afterall, it was his promise to the First Lurch, not ours.
It just goes to show when you grow up with entitlements and sucking off the government tit, no matter how successful you are, you will still leech off the very people that have given you the opportunity to rise to a position of status.
The $24,000 these White House welfare recipients squandered would have paid the salary of one of those six million people for a year and provided their family with food and shelter.
I just bet this was the "hope and change" that the voters were thinking when they elected this thieving fraud, don't you?
"The White House declined to say how much the trip was costing taxpayers."
Imagine that!
