FEAR MONGERING

Crisis – Turmoil – Impending Devastation

These words strike a chord within the human psyche invoking a sense of fear and panic. Fear invokes , at the core level, a fight or flight response. Denial, anger, acceptance, action.

Politicians know this and use it to their advantage with issues they know are not comfortable to the general public. They also know, as a general rule, the majority of people would rather stick their heads in the sand. They prefer to be oblivious to what is going on around them.

People live within a microcosm surrounded by “feel good” possessions and entertain themselves with mindless dribble. This is proven by the success of TV shows such as; The Simpsons. Dancing With The Stars, American Idol, game shows and soap operas.

People do not want to know the truth. This is why our news programming is limited to 30 minute segments with the largest portion being weather and sports reporting. The remaining few minutes filled with short blurbs, sound bites, and talking points, so as not to overload our delicate psyche. This, in turn, controls the masses by only giving the subliminal message intended to keep them within their own microcosm.

Society as a whole needs to wake up, grow up, and get involved in the real world before we lose our way of life as we know it. This whiny, spoiled brat, cradle to grave nannying that society has become is going to be the ruination of our great country.

What happened to standing on your own two feet, working for a living, not buying if you can’t afford it, honesty, integrity, and a mans word was his bond? I know that existed at one time, not so long ago. Did it go by the wayside along with real journalism, The Constitution, Christmas, Patriotism, God and Country?

IT 'S TIME TO NAME NAMES!

How can we as conservatives possibly listen to the socialist left dictate to our base on how "Our party" should be run in the future? When the left says, their views are "expressed" by republicans as well, they are only speaking of the RINO'S within our party. These people do not have the core values, and principles of the conservative base at heart, and are willing to sacrifice the very principles this nation was founded on.

The impact of Moderate Republicanism, however, didn't become apparent until shortly after the Civil War. The GOP emerged as the party of free enterprise. And by the late 1890's two distinct groups evolved -- Moderate and Conservative. The Moderate wing called on government to curtail unbridled capitalism. Conservatives are a legitimate branch of the GOP who have made many positive contributions, and has protected America from the art of legislating compromise.

Moderate Republican orthodoxy includes:
A passion for civil liberties;
A belief that the Constitution is a living, breathing document with timeless values that must be made relevant in a modern age
A commitment to protect the environment trying to make a case that Modern technology provides many options before the earth is harshly, brutally, and needlessly pillaged.
A belief that God and religion have a very important place in America -- at the dinner table and in churches, temples, and mosques.
A responsibility to publicly criticize those who call themselves Republican when the situation merits. Moderate/Progressives have a duty to vote against the party line when it doesn't serve the  "greater good". This New Age term, "greater good" speaks volumes in socialist ideology.
A strategy to halt urban sprawl while encouraging intelligent commercial development.
A renewed commitment to civil liberties that includes an expansion of privacy protections regarding the Internet, health care, financial information, and other highly personal data.
A commitment to affordable, quality health care and
support for ending the death penalty on the state and federal level
A renewed effort to end discrimination based on race, gender, religion, and sexual orientation.
A commitment to education that teaches and empowers the nation's youth to think, show compassion, and contribute to the greater good. There is that phrase again.
Be unafraid to fight Conservative ideologues.  They must work harder at presenting Moderate Republicanism as a legitimate, long-established Lincolnian ideology.
The RINO or moderate way of thinking conflicts with the core values of republican principles.

Conservatives beileve....
I'm a republican because,
I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.
I BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.
I BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.
I BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.
I BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations, and that the best government is that which governs least.
I BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.
I BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.
FINALLY, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.
As stated by the GOP on the GOP website.

Moderates within the GOP tend to be, to varying degrees, fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
Moderate Republicans differ in that they may be for some gay rights, abortion rights, gun control, environmental regulation, federal funding of education, fewer restrictions on legal immigration and illegal immigration, abolition of the death penalty, civil rights laws, legalization of drugs, stem cell research, anti-war policies, or any of the above.
Moderate Republicans have seen their influence in the Republican party diminish significantly since the 1990s. Once commonplace throughout the country, today moderate Republicans tend to be found in elected office primarily in the Northeast and the West.

It's time to name names, and call for RINOS to leave the conservative party.
It's time to say no to their spewing of socialist agenda.
Moderate Republicans include U.S. Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani, Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell, Vermont Governor Jim Douglas, and Rhode Island Governor Donald Carcieri.
Former New Jersey Governor Christie Todd Whitman founded the Republican Leadership Council PAC in order to promote moderate Republicans for office.
John McCain has been considered a moderate Republican for much of his Congressional career.
Stepping back in time, the notable liberal Republicans group, include Fiorello La Guardia, George Norris, Harold Stassen, Wendell Willkie, Alf Landon, Thomas E. Dewey, Nelson Rockefeller and Earl Warren. Richard Nixon belongs to this group—his rhetoric was conservative but his policies were liberal in many areas.
More recent liberal Republican office-holders include Michael Bloomberg, Lincoln Chafee, Amo Houghton and Jim Leach; Michael Bloomberg and Lincoln Chafee left the Republican Party, and Chafee and the other two no longer serve in Congress.

America, we need to take our country back. It has become of utmost conequence that we call out those that do not have our country in their best intrest. We have a loud voice, and I urge you all to use it. Do not listen to what the socialist left is dictating as how America should become the "New Deal" for the "Greater Good"

Sen. John McCain Did not want it bad enough

I've said that about football teams all too often when my team lost a critical game. They didn't want to win. But looking back at the past election, the phrase just keeps coming up again. As I listen to him now as Obama prepares to take the oval office, I wonder if McCains' run for the White House was a campaign "For" Obama! Given all the political ammo that was placed in McCains lap," valid issues" he refused to use it. Much has since been said about many of O's issues, AFTER the fact. Why didn't McCain want to address them during his campaign? Instead he often took the opportunity to say what a great man O was, and how well he respected him. I feel his past associations do in fact say alot about O, and the man who is about to become Commander in Chief, who's association with Luo Raila Odinga, (Opposition Leader in Kenya who signed a ‘Shariah pact’ with Muslims and claims to be Obama’s cousin) and is married to Ida Odinga. They have four children - His oldest son, Fidel, is named after Fidel Castro)  for a beginning, and his support of this man, so much so as to go to Kenya and actually campaign for him. Then we have all the rest; Obama's Pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, has a history of what eEven Obama's campaign aides say is 'Inflammatory Rhetoric', Antoin "Tony" Rezko, a Syrian and well-known Illinois political fixer under active federal investigation, William Ayers- founding member of the group that bombed the U.S. Capitol And The Pentagon During The 1970s, B. Hussein Obama's presidential campaign paid an ACORN affiliate organization more than $800,000 dollars to mount a get out the vote effort, Al-Mansour, who mentored Black Panthers’ founders Huey Newton and Bobby Seale in the early 1960s. Is it just me or are there some valid issues, NOT ADRESSED by the man we looked to, to prevent this country from slipping into socialism? I would submit, damned the gentlemans
approach to a political campaign.

Again, is it just me, or did we see a very reserved McCain step to the podium, no passion, no fire, no conviction, NO STANCE, on any of our conservative values and priciples. I would also submit, McCain is a liberal wearing a conservative hat, like the many that are in our party now, and threaten it with their willingness to reach across the aisle. How can it make any sense to listen to the socialist left dictate to us how we should run this party to be successful?

This country spoke in a unified voice for the conservative party, not because of McCain, but because of his running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin. If not for her courageous, bold, voice for our values, McCain would have thrown in the towel long before election day. She had the fire in her eye, the grit to say the things that needed said, and above all our country, and you and I in her heart. She still does. But McCain consistantly silenced her, and his aides sabotaged her. It is apparent to me now that McCain and his aides did not want to win this election, or they would have let Gov. Palin win for him. God knows McCains' heart was NOT in it.

Where is McCain now? Right up O's behind. 'I want to work with him' he says, (not his exact words, but) He is a fine man. WHAT?!?!? Leave the party now McCain!

Obama and his "Civilian Police Force"

Could Obama and his "Civilian Police Force" Plus the Army be used against the American people during Civil Unrest?

“Purposeful domestic resistance” A situation in which our military would have to define the legitimate cause of use of our military within the borders of the United States. A most fearful situation to ever be considered indeed.

A recent report produced by the U.S. Army War College’s Strategic Institute warns that the United States may experience massive civil unrest in the wake of a series of crises which it has termed “strategic shock.” The report, titled Known Unknowns: Unconventional Strategic Shocks in Defense Strategy Development, also suggests that the military may have to be used to quell domestic disorder.

“Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security,” the report, authored by [Ret.] Lt. Col. Nathan Freir, reads. “Deliberate employment of weapons of mass destruction or other catastrophic capabilities, unforeseen economic collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency, pervasive public health emergencies, and catastrophic natural and human disasters are all paths to disruptive domestic shock.”

It then goes on to say, “An American government and defense establishment lulled into complacency by a long-secure domestic order would be forced to rapidly divest some or most external security commitments in order to address rapidly expanding human insecurity at home…”

“Already predisposed to defer to the primacy of civilian authorities in instances of domestic security and divest all but the most extreme demands in areas like civil support and consequence management, DoD might be forced by circumstances to put its broad resources at the disposal of civil authorities to contain and reverse violent threats to domestic tranquility. Under the most extreme circumstances, this might include use of military force against hostile groups inside the United States.” Lt. Col. Freir concluded.

Freir is a Senior Fellow in the International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He joined the program in April 2008 when he retired from the Army, serving 20 years as a lieutenant colonel. He works closely with the likes of Richard Armitage, Brent Scowcroft Zbigniew Brzezinski, and Henry Kissinger.

Comments made by Pentagon advisors, along with other well known figures such as Colin Powell, and Joe Biden, Freir warned the incoming Obama administration should in fact be ready for a "first term crisis" that could act as a catalyst for such civil unrest.

“The current administration confronted a game-changing ’strategic shock’ inside its first eight months in office,” says the report. “The next administration would be well-advised to expect the same during the course of its first term. Indeed, the odds are very high against any of the challenges routinely at the top of the traditional defense agenda triggering the next watershed inside DoD [Department of Defense].”

We have recently highlighted plans to station thousands more U.S. troops inside America for purposes of “domestic security” from September 2011, an expansion of Northcom’s militarization of the country in preparation for potential civil unrest following a total economic collapse or a mass terror attack. The U.S. military expects to have 20,000 uniformed troops inside the United States by 2011 trained to help state and local officials respond to a nuclear terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe, according to Pentagon officials,” reported the Washington Post last month.

An Army Times article dated Sept 8 says that Northcom has announced the first troop deployment was is in place as of October 1st, stationed at Ft. Stewart and Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Co. Their mission, "civil unrest and crowd control”. After considerable voices of concern were heard involving the admissions in the Army Times article, Northcom then retracted statements made, but still conceded that non-lethal as well as lethal weapons traditionally used in crowd control and rioting would still be utilized in the field.

We have to ask ourselves is this build up of our military within our borders part greater plan to dismantle our Constitutional rule and install a military form of government,   following a large scale terror attack or similar disaster, as Tommy Franks, the former commander of the military’s Central Command, alluded to in a November 2003 Cigar Aficionado piece.

Franks explained a possible situation in which martial law would go into effect, saying, “It means the potential of a weapon of mass destruction and a terrorist, massive, casualty-producing event somewhere in the Western world – it may be in the United States of America – that causes our population to question our own Constitution and to begin to militarize our country in order to avoid a repeat of another mass, casualty-producing event. Which in fact, then begins to unravel the fabric of our Constitution. Two steps, very, very important.” In short, the deployment of troops in a domestic situation would likely be targeted at combating civil unrest that would come after a total collapse of our economy, that would have a follow up of devastating hyperinflation.

Citibank sounded a warning recently in an internal memo that was leaked. “The world is not going back to normal after the magnitude of what they have done. When the dust settles this will either work, and the money they have pushed into the system will feed through into an inflation shock,” A statement made by Tom Fitzpatrick, Citibank’s chief technical strategist. The memo goes on to state a prediction, “depression, civil disorder and possibly wars” as a fallout from an economic collapse that many say is on the horizon.

Section 1385 of the Posse Comitatus Act states, “Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”

Under the John Warner Defense Authorization Act, signed by President Bush on October 17, 2006, the law was changed to state, “The President may employ the armed forces to restore public order in any State of the United States the President determines hinders the execution of laws or deprives people of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.” However, these changes were repealed in their entirety by HR 4986: National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008, reverting back to the original state of the Insurrection Act of 1807. Despite this repeal, President Bush attached a signing statement saying that he did not feel bound by the repeal. It remains to be seen whether President elect Obama will reverse Bush’s signing statement.

The original text of the Insurrection Act severely limits the power of the President to deploy troops within the United States. For troops to be deployed, a condition has to exist that, “(1) So hinders the execution of the laws of that State, and of the United States within the State, that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law, and the constituted authorities of that State are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity, or to give that protection; or (2) opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws. In any situation covered by clause (1), the State shall be considered to have denied the equal protection of the laws secured by the Constitution.”

Will The Obama administration and Northcom wait for a situation or event to take place that would totally overwhelm a state or states authority, to then deploy military might against the American People? Consider Lt. Col. Freir's "Known Unknowns report.

“A whole host of long-standing defense conventions would be severely tested. Under these conditions and at their most violent extreme, civilian authorities, on advice of the defense establishment, would need to rapidly determine the parameters defining the legitimate use of military force inside the United States. Further still, the whole concept of conflict termination and/or transition to the primacy of civilian security institutions would be uncharted ground. DoD is already challenged by stabilization abroad. Imagine the challenges associated with doing so on a massive scale at home.”

Martial Law and the militarization of America, or the foundation to a bad movie?

You be the judge.

John Mccain - The DemocRAT

John McCain has done more than “reach” across the aisle. Throughout his entire career he has fraudulently sat on the right all the while leaning left as is apparent by his voting record.

McCain voted against the president's tax cut, forced his hand on campaign finance reform, and federalized airport security in the face of White House opposition. He has co-sponsored numerous bills with Democrats--many of them in the presidential-aspirant class--requiring background checks at gun shows (Lieberman), a patients' bill of rights (Edwards), better fuel-efficiency standards in cars and SUVs (Kerry), and expanded national service programs (Bayh). He is even drafting a bill with Lieberman to reduce greenhouse gasses and mitigate global warming (Washington Monthly, May 2002).

Did McCain and the Democrats perpetrate the biggest fraud in electoral history? An examination of McCains campaign would lead one to believe so. McCain refused to call Obama on issues raised during the campaign. McCain consistently praised Obama. McCain refused to take a stand and run on the issues.

Did McCain select Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate in an attempt to disenfranchise conservative voters? When that backfired on him was it John McCain who had his aides attempt to sabotage Gov. Palins credibility? Now McCain is further trying to sabotage Gov. Palin by stating he wouldn’t support her for a presidential run in 2012.

Mc Cain knows that Gov. Palin can fire up the conservative base and pull it back together. He knows she is a threat to the Democratic Party. He knows she can take it away from the Dems. Is John McCain trying to insure the Republican Party does not reclaim the White House in 2012?

John McCain should be kicked out of the Republican Party and go sit with his Dem buddies while continuing to lick Obamas boots. McCain started his career as a carpetbagger and has continued his career as a carpetbagger. He and Hillary have a lot in common.

Oust ALL Pseudo Conservative Moderates Now!

The conservative party should make no concessions to the socialist left for America and it's freedoms. Any moderate republican, who says they are the voice of reason for the party, in reality are leftists wearing conservative hats. Yes John McCain I mean you as well, and Powell too! It is time for this conservative party to return to it's founding roots and ideals. Moderates are far too willing to sacrifice our principles, and values to appease the left. It is really very simple, you are either for this party, and America or your not. No concessions! Take off your conservative hats and have a seat on the left and stay there, we have no room for your soft approach in the consevative party. This is truly a hard ball time in this nation, and should be played as such. The right should call on all moderates to now leave the party, based on their voting record and conduct. How can we let the left tell the right how we should run our party? I can think no reason. I am against  the social ideals, that let run rampant will destroy this free nation. Our constitution will be dismantled, and a new bill of rights written. Mayor Bloomberg has already set precident by serving a third term. Are we to allow congress to alter our electorial process next? We have all the radicals in place and a president that is in fact a "New Party" member. This past election has proven decietful methods and actions are not beyond the left to gain control of this country. They have shown willingness to embrace terrorism, and then lable it "For Peace" and "The Greater Good". Moderates defect at will and openly show their willingness to give up our values all to easy, many times to further personal / political gains. Make No Concessions America!

Will America Draw A Line In The Sand?

As the coming administration moves closer to changing this free nation into a socialistic society, I can't seem to get out of my head a comment Obama made in July while giving a speech in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He said, "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

I try to look at this rationally, but still I can not but help feel just a tad apprehensive about it all, as he makes his appointments of radical social leftists. He goes on to give preview of his plan for America, by stating, "People of all ages, stations, and skills will be asked to serve."
Further he plans to double the Peace Corps' budget by 2011, and expand AmeriCorps, USA Freedom Corps, VISTA, YouthBuild Program, and the Senior Corps.  Plus, he proposes to form a Classroom Corps, Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, Veterans Corps, Homeland Security Corps, Global Energy Corps, and a Green Jobs Corps.

Now if you look at the Department of Defense budget, it runs around $482 billion for 2008. He  has announced his intentions to cut "tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending," including $9-10 billion per month spent in Iraq and expenditures for the missile defense system, while increasing the force size of the Army and Marine Corps.

James Jay Carfano, Ph.D wrote an article titled Assessing Plans to Deploy U.S. Military on the Homeland Security Front. Carfano states Recently, there has been much speculation about announced Pentagon plans to deploy U.S. troops in the United States for homeland security missions and how the incoming Obama Administration might implement such a procedure.

While I do agree there are times and sometimes very urgent missions to employ military forces in our country, there are very clear guidelines for using such forces correctly.

When Obama continually spews his infrastructure plans, one has to, in light of the whole picture, wonder if it is really jobs for America, or a guise for a more sinister "Bigger Plan" held secret in a decieitful mind?  Is he concerned that half of this country quite likley will become more and more
angry, as in your face socialism is installed? Will he then need that infrastructure to move his "Civilian Police" force and it's equipment through our great land? At this point I would submit it's anyones guess. I'm just saying.

I fear we will at some point will be fearful of our neighbor, who will sign on to his new day plan and start pointing fingers at anyone who may have a voice of opposition.

Am I wrong? You decide! I'll listen.

Colin Powell is a racist

I don't know whether to be infuriated or justified. Found this article on Newsmax about an upcoming interview on Turners Obama boot licking news station and took a few quotes from it.

"Colin Powell blames Rush Limbaugh and conservative talk radio for Republican electoral woes."

"Powell ... still considers himself a Republican but said his party should quit listening to Limbaugh for advice. Instead, it needs to look more to minority groups if it wants to win elections in the 21st century."

"Powell, the first African-American to hold the secretary of state position, made it clear that race had played a role in his decision to back Obama,"

"Ironically, conservatives like Limbaugh had strongly opposed John McCain during his presidential campaign, while Powell donated $2,300 to McCain during his primary effort."

If the Republican Party would stop listening to the centrists and get back to its core beliefs we will win the next election. Lower taxes, less spending, smaller government.

There was a time I would have voted for Powell had he run for President. But, when he deserted his own party to endorse Obama I was disappointed. I knew he did it, not based on political views, but because he wanted to support "a brother". It shows the American people what kind of man Powell is. A racist turncoat who can no more be trusted than his brother, Obama.

The Republican Party doesn't need to cater to one race or the other, it needs to cater to Americans and abide by The Constitution. Why cater to people who apparently are not willing or intelligent enough to educate themselves, at least a little bit, on the subject of politics and who vote on the basis of race. When those people that voted for Obama don't receive the free rent or free gasoline that they think they are going to get they won't be out there voting in the next election. Just like they didn't vote in previous elections. This election was an anomally that won't happen again anytime in the near future. Actually, I should call it like it is - a fraud. With ACORN committing widespread voter fraud, with MSM being bought off by the libs, and news anchors making statements like "Vote early. Vote often".

John McCain was not the person the RNC should have nominated.  He is too centrist. The RNC needs to go through and "out" those in the party that are actually dyed in wool liberals . The only thing good that came out of this election was a little known Governor from Alaska came into public view. She has more balls, more common sense, and the ability to handle the job of POTUS more than anyone in in either party.

Back on subject. Powell needs to go crawl back in his hole. He has ruined his political career. He has shown he cannot be trusted. I don't see Obama giving him any of those precious cabinet positions for his endorsement. And I don't see to Republican Party welcoming him back with open arms. He screwed himself because he chose race over country. Same as the people that voted for Obama screwed themselves and all Americans when they chose to vote based on race.

NO! We are sick and tired of catering to the blacks! How about let's cater to the American People. Aren't we a country of Americans, afterall?

Obama up to his neck in dirt

How much dirt can he wallow in before it starts to stick? "That one" is as corrupt as the day is long yet he keeps getting "buys" from the media, from the Repubs, and of course from the kool-aid drinkers. How long is it going to take before someone actually does some in-depth investigation into this guy? He's about to become the "ruler" of our great nation. Obama hasn't been around long enough to have enough dirt on the major players in politics to warrant this kind of blind eye treatment. There have already been too many blatant lies, extremely questionable associations, and , yes, associations matter. If not I'm sure Gotti would have run for President. And from the looks of todays politics he would have won, too. There is just too much questionable crap in Obamas life for him to have gotten as far as he has without someone in authority saying "Hey! Wait a minute!"

Politically Volatile Time

This has been the most politically volatile time I have ever seen. And the most frustrating. I must admit that this is the first time in my life that I have ever been passionate about politics. I can only attribute it to the blatant bias of the media, the kool-aid drinking fools that think they have reached nirvana, and the dangerous path I see our country heading down.

What is it about this years election that have caused so many people to forsake reason? I look at friends I have had for years and it's as if they have gone mad. I don't know who they are anymore. I once considered them intelligent individuals. We could talk about anything and always agreed to disagree and that was fine. Now we no longer talk at all. I want to grab them and shake some sense into them. This election has torn friends and families apart.

Now I'm the first to proudly admit that I'm a conservative redneck Indian who's also an artist that has a background in the field of mental health. So, needless to say, many of my associations are liberal minded individuals. Yes, I know that is complex. Now I have always considered my liberal minded friends to be intelligent. We have enjoyed many in depth, complex conversations over the years. Something I truly enjoy. But, now there is no talking to them. They refuse to listen to any opposing viewpoints. They can no longer offer up a rebuttal that falls outside of talking points typed on a piece of paper given to them by the DNC. Literally!

Last May I had not made up my mind on a particular candidate, other than I knew it would not be Hillary. I was checking out what the available candidates were bringing to the table. I had a friend who was campaigning for Obama so I asked her to tell me what was Obamas platform because he had yet to take a stand for anything. He had said nothing other than double talk gibberish. Anyway she could not tell me one thing that her candidate stood for. All she could say is "he is going to bring change". Well what kind of change? I gave her the opportunity to convince me that her candidate has substance, something to offer, and she could not. But she was so enthralled with this man. A man she knew absolutely nothing about. I was looking for something that gave me an option other than McCain. I know McCains record, having lived for some time in Arizona myself, I was not particularly impressed with him. I really liked Huckabee, but Huckabee didn't stand a chance because he didn't have the support of the Republican Party. I liked Thompson, but he lacked something. Motivation being one.Anyway, my friend, so enraptured by this Obama person as if he was the Savior incarnate, seemed to disappear. She wasn't the only one either. As time wore on and more and more things came to light about Obamas past and his "vision" I became more and more concerned. When I would broach the subject with my kool-aid drinking friends their reactions were all the same. "Just distractions and propaganda! Lies from the bigots!" What happened to the cool reasonable people I use to know? What happened to the people that could carry on in-depth and complex conversations? I could hear them chant "Obama! Obama!" It has been like a bad movie - "The Zombies of Obama". Needless to say we haven't spoken since before the election.

How can sensible, intelligent, educated people be so blind as to not see the writing on the wall? This is a very dangerous man surrounded by some very fanatically dangerous people. The only thing I can hope for is that the whole thing implodes before Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, and Reid destroy everything this country has stood for. An implosion is inevitable with these four ego-maniacal tyrannical demons.Obama is not the unifier of the people. He has already created a great divide. Greater than we have seen in 145 years.

Look to the past to see your future!

Fed up with Political Correctness

When did we become a nation of overly sensitive, sissified, wimps? I am fed up with having to choose my words carefully to avoid offending someone. The left wing liberal, tree hugging, tofu eating, pantywaists, demorats have no problem with political incorrectness and bigotry when they direct it at conservatives. Everything is a double standard with them. Because I am a southern conservative I am:

Redneck - You betcha!
Racist - No. I hate everyone equally.
Gun clinging - Damn straight! And, yes, I hunt, too. At least I'm intelligent enough to know where the food I feed my family comes from.
Poor white trash - Not wealthy. Just a hard working person who has a full time job and her own business, never been on welfare, college educated, and American Indian.
Unsophisticated - If that means I don't mind getting my hands dirty from a hard days work, then yes I am. If that means I have some common sense, then yes I am. If that means I like to take my granddaughter camping, fishing, to a turkey shoot, teach her how to plant a garden, gather eggs from chickens, how to care for horses, teach her respect for all living thing, then yes I am. If it means that I enjoy a fine glass of wine and going to the theatre, then yes I am. If it means that I like a good, in-depth, intelligent debate, then yes I am.

It is alright for the libs to use these words interchangably when referring to conservatives, but the world is coming to an end if I refer to them as left wing liberal, tofu eating, pantywaist, wingnut demorats. Or, Heaven forbid, I utter a prejudicial epithet. IMO they need to grow up, get over it, and move on! Libs remind me of the spoiled little whiny brats you find in the school yard. Pick up your marbles and go home. I got my own marbles, thank you.

I am proud of who I am and what I believe in. I have morals. I fly my countrys flag with pride, both United States and Confederate. I will protect my country from socialism and tyranny with ever fiber of my being. I will

No Concessions

I, as of a short time ago was at a point in life, as I suspect many Americans were, that I had put my racial ideals to rest. Across the board so to speak. I felt America was there. Along comes the 2008 elections, and here we are again... racists, bigots, rednecks, you name it and because of  skin color and where I live, Im a bitter hater. Well have it your way! I would submit that those that yell the loudest on the race issue are in fact guilty of it "racism" more than I. I refuse to make any more consessions for actions that took place over 300 years ago. I can't change what happened, nor can you. The intelligent, elite, socialist left need to also "Move On"! It seems that some people just can't or Won't because they would lose their reason to hate. I personnaly do not see that there are any obstacles in place that would prevent anyone from gaining any higher goal that they would set for themselves. You have to want to do it. I, in this day and age, do not feel I owe anyone anything. There are many, many people that I know that feel the same way, we are just simply tired being preached to about how bad we are. Or should I say fed up with it? The socialist left have created a divide in this country even before Obama has taken office. The right is mad as hell and the left is walking with their heads in the clouds. Obama...is sitting on a powder keg and does not even know it. When this country comes apart, todays issues will be the least of his problems.

Has anyone looked at gun sales in the country lately?

My first blog entry

Shall the United States be a participant in this effort at self-destruction? Mark it well! Your
silence will be mistaken for indifference, and will tend to strengthen the traitorous hands
already stretched forth to destroy this Free Nation. It is of the utmost consequence, then, that the man who values this Great American Nation and is opposed to socialism, leave his farm, his work shop, his store, and his office, and devote as much time as possible to his country. Do this I beseech you, before it's too late. Let no man, therefore neglet this patriotic call, remembering that he who is not for this Great Nation is against it.

Let there be no concessions for Freedom!
